These stones seem very dramatic to me with the contrasting preserved stone against the weather-beaten one. I love the way Eli's stone is nestled against the stone of his mother much in the same way she would have protected or cuddled him when he was young.
You can almost imagine the mother reunited with her son in the afterlife. Lovely photo - thanks for sharing!
