According to the book Colonial Families of the United States of America (1917) edited by George Norbury Mackenzie, Sarah Plank was born in 1726 and married John Jacobs, a farmer in Thompson, CT on January 24, 1751. That would make Sarah in her 63rd year when she died. John and Sarah had eight known children. Both Sarah's husband, John, and sons, John, Jesse and Asa, were patriots during the American Revolution. This suggests that they would have likely known my ancestor, Henry Learned, who also lived in Thompson and served in the Revolution. Interestingly enough, Sarah's husband, John, lived to be 95 years old - born in 1725 and not dying until 1820.
